Alexa+ goes everywhere
Alexa+ can remember preferences, build routines by voice, coordinate services, and act across Amazon and third-party systems. Alexa also supports compatible Matter devices, although device types and Thread support depend on the Echo or eero hardware in the home.
Requests enter Amazon's cloud
Amazon says Alexa voice requests are sent to its cloud. People can review and delete recordings and transcripts, or choose not to save voice recordings.
Amazon notes that related records, data held by skills, de-identified information, and effects already incorporated into trained systems can follow different retention rules.
Memory you own
Domovoy will keep its core assistant and household memory on owner-controlled hardware. AI Passport will handle personal-data connectors without giving provider credentials to the model.
