Founding reservation terms

What this is
A founding reservation is a refundable $199 payment to Egoist Machines, Inc. that holds a place in line for Digital Domovoy. It is not a purchase, and it does not obligate you to buy. Domovoy is in development. No delivery date is promised.
What it secures
A place in the founding line, ordered by the time your reservation was completed.
The founding run is limited to 1,000 paid reservations. Your reservation number identifies your reservation, not a shipping date. A checkout temporarily holds a number; unpaid expired checkouts release it. Numbers from paid reservations are not reused, including after a refund.
The planned starting price of $2,999 held for one unit, should the launch price be higher. If the launch price is lower, you pay the lower price.
Your $199 credited toward the purchase price of that unit.
The $2,999 figure is a planning assumption. The final configuration and price will be published before any unit is sold.
Refunds
You may cancel at any time before your unit ships, for any reason, and receive a full refund of $199. Use the cancel link in your receipt email or write to hello@meetdomovoy.com from the address you reserved with.
Refunds return to your original payment method. They usually arrive within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
If Egoist Machines cancels the product, cannot ship to your country, or changes the offer in a way you do not accept, you will receive a full refund without needing to ask.
When you are invited to buy
When units are ready for your place in line, we will email you an invitation to complete the purchase. If you do not complete it within the window stated in that email, we may release your place. Your $199 remains refundable until you either complete the purchase, at which point it is credited, or cancel.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. Shipping regions have not been announced. If we cannot ship to your country when your invitation comes, your reservation is refunded in full.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Egoist Machines does not store your card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
Your information
We use the email you provide to send your receipt, your cancel link, reservation updates, and your purchase invitation. See the privacy notice for what we store, where, and how to have it deleted.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change reduces what your reservation secures or how you can get a refund, we will email you first, and you can cancel for a full refund.
